Reflection Term 1 2017

This term has been great so far, I've got through a lot of work and nailing it. It's felt really good being a year 6 student, being one of the top role models in the school. I've learnt a ton of maths and reading this term. On week 10 we read this book about  war and I learnt lots of cool things like they didn't have sound in movies so they had to use a piano and they used subtitles. I found challenging this year is that we did this workshop on decimals which was really challenging. I loved that we did word of the day every week. (except this week) It was really exciting learning new words every week and also finding out the definition of the word. We did this thing called inquiry maths where their is four steps, Step 1 understand the problem, Step 2 Decide on a strategy, Step 3 Do it and Step 4 reflect. This term has been a great time, I hope it carries on like this for the rest of the year.
